Maximianus, as Senior Augustus. Follis (Bronze, 28 mm, 8.64 g, 1 h), Treveri, 1 May 305-early 307. D N MAXIMIANO BAEATISSIMO SEN AVG Laureate and mantled bust of Maximianus to right, holding olive branch in his right hand and mappa in his left. Rev. PROVIDENTIA DEORVM QVIES AVGG / S - F / PTR Providentia standing right, extending her right hand toward Quies, standing left, holding branch in her right hand and scepter in her left. RIC 673b. A beautiful example with a dark patina and a fine portrait. Somewhat rough on the reverse, otherwise, extremely fine.
