Constantine I (?), 307/310-337. Follis (Bronze, 23 mm, 2.92 g, 12 h), brockage mint error, Nicomedia, 313-317. Incuse of reverse. Rev. IOVI CONS-ERVATORI AVGG / N / S / SMN Jupiter standing front, head to left, holding Victory on globe in his right hand and long scepter in his left; at his feet, eagle standing left, holding wreath with his beak. Cf. RIC 14f. Slightly rough, otherwise, very fine.
Reverse brockages are suprisingly rare: in the case of this example, the reverse belongs to either Constantine I or Licinius I.
