Kardez (Bronze, 20 mm, 2.59 g, 9 h), Sis. +ԿՈՍՏԱՆԴԻԱՆ ՈՍ ԹԱԳ ՈՐ ('Gosdantin King' in Armenian) Gosdantin, bearded and crowned, standing facing in a long elaborate tunic, holding sword in his right hand and short Latin cross in his left. Rev. ՇԻՆԵԼ ԳԱՂԱԳՆ ՍԻՍԷ ('struck in the city of Sis' in Armenian) Cross pattée over short cross saltire. AC 417. CCA 1732. Rare and with attractive earthen deposits. Corroded, otherwise, very fine.
