KINGS OF SOPHENE. Arsames, circa 255-225 BC. Tetrachalkon (Bronze, 18 mm, 5.48 g, 2 h), third series. Draped bust of Arsames to right, wearing a cylindrical tiara with doomed top, tied with a diadem. Rev. BAΣIΛEΩΣ - APΣAMOY Herakles standing front, head to left, extending his right hand and holding club in his left. Kovacs 7. Some deposits and somewhat smoothed, otherwise, nearly very fine.
