GAUL. Massalia. Circa 500-475 BC. 3/4 Obol (Silver, 9 mm, 0.83 g), Milesian standard. Forepart of a lion to left, devouring prey. Rev. Rough incuse square. Auriol Group Ub. LT 497. Maurel 61. Somewhat porous and the obverse struck slightly off center, otherwise, very fine.
