KINGS OF ARMENIA. Tigranes VI, first reign, circa 60-62. Chalkous (Bronze, 14 mm, 2.36 g, 1 h), Artagigarta (?), first series, before 60. Draped bust of Tigranes VI to right, wearing five-pointed tiara decorated with a star and tied with a diadem. Rev. [BAΣI]ΛEΩΣ - [TI]ΓPANOY Palm frond. Kovacs 197. Very rare. Some deposits and the reverse struck somewhat off center, otherwise, very fine.
