PISIDIA. Amblada. Philip II (?), 247-249. Tetrassarion (Orichalcum, 30 mm, 15.15 g, 10 h). AYT KAI M IOYΛ ΦΙΛΙΠΠOC CЄB Laureate, draped and cuirassed bust of Philip II (?) to right, seen from behind. Rev. AMBΛAΔЄΩN ΛAKEΔAIMONΙΩN Herakles standing right, right hand on his hip, leaning left on club set on boukranion, lion's skin draped over his left arm; to left, quiver. SNG von Aulock 4905 = Von Aulock, Pisidien I, 163. Rare. Repatinated and with some spots of corrosion, otherwise, good very fine.

Von Aulock attributes this issue to Philip II, but the beard points towards his father Philip I. The reverse calls the people of Amblada 'the descendants of Spartans'.
