With original certificate number 489. The reverse portrays a dragon, 1988 being the Chinese Year of the Dragon, thus making this commemorative both collectable as a panda issue, and as a lunar animal issue. Only 500 of the authorised 800 pieces were minted, leaving this among the rarest of the early gold Show Pandas. This is the finest known of this desirable issue, and the only one gradedPF70.
