Phoenicia, Sidon. Pseudo-autonomous issue. Late 1st century B.C.-early 1st century A.D. Æ (19 mm, 6.12 g). CY 103 (9/8 B.C.) Tetrastyle temple with free standing columns or colonnade at sides / Europa seated facing, head right, on bull galloping left, holding billowing veil and bull's horn; below, date (L ΓP). RPC 4569; Price & Trell 194, fig. 359; BMC 164; Lindgren III 1432. Brown surfaces, reverse a little rough. Very fine.
