Ca. 2nd century B.C. Æ coin (18 mm, 5.93 g). Bold countermark of male figure (Shiva?) standing facing, holding danda (stick) / Traces of undertype with bull standing right. Not listed in Pieper. An attractive specimen, with clear traces of the undertype visible. Rare and choice. Very fine .
This uninscribed coin has a human figure punched on it - probably Lord Mahakal (Shiva), the deity worshipped in Ujjain.
