USA, Seated Liberty. 1859-S. 1 Dollar (37 mm, 26.44 g, 6 h). Carefully cleaned some time ago and now beginning to retone. Very fine.

The first silver dollar struck at the mint in San Francisco with only 20,000 pieces issued. For this, the 1859-S carries a premium in all grades.
