Samanid, Isma'il b. Ahmad (279-295h), dinar, al-Shash 289h, rev., citing the caliph al-Mu'tadid, 4.26g (Bernardi 223Qf, citing a single specimen), about extremely fine and extremely rare. While common for silver, al-Shash is a very rare mint for Samanid gold.
