Jülich-Cleve-Berg, Karl Theodor of Pfalz-Sulzbach (1742-1799), 2 ducats, 1750, Düsseldorf mint, cuirassed bust right, s (for Schäfer, Mannheim) and D (for Christian Dietz, die-engraver in Düsseldorf) below, rev., three conjoined shields, Electoral crown above, a – k (for Anton Kamphausen, Düsseldorf mintmaster) below, 6.95g (Noss 952; F. 1415), flan very slightly bent, extremely fine, with original mint lustre showing in legends and devices, rare. Karl Theodor of Pfalz-Sulzbach inherited the Dukedom of Jülich-Cleve-Berg in 1742 on the demise of the Neuburg line.
