Abbasid (or possibly Umayyad)? fals, al-Tirmidh, undated, rev., margin reads duriba hadha al-fals bi'l-Tirmidh sittin bi-dirham, 2.17g, some weak striking but almost very fine and extremely rare, apparently unpublished. Abbasid fulus on which mint-name also appears in the form 'al-Tirmidh' are known dated 142h. The phrase 'sixty to a dirham' is found on both Umayyad and Abbasid copper coins from Transoxiana.
