Charles VIII of France (1483-98), bronze medal attributed to Niccolò Spinelli, called Fiorentino, bust left in cap and wearing the order of St. Michael, rev., Victory in a chariot led by Peace, 95mm (Hill 945; Arm. I, 89, 22; cf. Pollard 298 = Kress 262 a uniface medal, 96.7mm), some scratches in the reverse field, very fine old cast in high relief.
