LUCANIA. Thourioi. Circa 400-350 BC. Stater (Silver, 22 mm, 7.71 g, 5 h). Head of Athena to right, wearing crested Attic helmet adorned with Skylla to right, holding an oar with her left hand and pointing with her right. Rev. ΘΟΥΡΙΩΝ Bull with lowered head butting to right; in exergue, fish to right. HN III 1800. SNG ANS 1014 (same dies). Bright and clear and with a noble head of Athena. Graffito on the obverse and with a heavy die break on the reverse, otherwise, nearly very fine.
