ATTICA. Athens. Circa 165-42 BC. Tetradrachm (Silver, 30 mm, 16.68 g, 12 h), 161/160 BC. Head of Athena Parthenos to right, wearing triple-crested Attic helmet adorned with Pegasos. Rev. ΑΘΕ Owl standing facing on amphora; to left and right, monogram; around, olive wreath. Thompson 11 var. Obverse slightly doubled and lightly struck; traces of cleaning, otherwise, very fine.
