Ephebe, nude, holding a small round shield with his left hand and the reins with his right, riding to left; below horse, NI. Rev. ΤΑΡΑΣ Phalanthos, nude, riding dolphin to left, holding grape bunch with his extended right hand and resting his left hand on the dolphin's back; I below dolphin. Fischer-Bossert Group 45, 646f (V250/R498) this coin. HN III 884. Vlasto 496 (this obverse die). An attractively toned and well-centered example. Overstruck on a Corinthian type stater, otherwise, very fine.
