Diademed head of Tigranes II to left, wearing four-pointed tiara decorated with a star. Rev. BAΣΙΛΕΩΣ [MEΓAΛOY](right) ΤΙΓΡΑΝΟΥ (left) Nike standing right, holding palm in her right extended hand; M monogram above Nike's head an right. ACV -. CAA -. Kovacs 67 var (legend and monograms on the fields). Same dies as Leu Numismatik e-auction 7, 465, but with the major variations unnoticed. Dark green patina; possibly the second example of this rare type. Very fine.
