KINGS OF ARMENIA. Tigranes V, the Cappadocian, AD 6-12. Dichalkon (Bronze, 15 mm, 3.24 g, 1 h), Artagigarta (?). Diademed, draped, and bearded bust of Tigranes to right, wearing tiara decorated with three eagles. Rev. ΒΑΣΙΛΕΩΣ ΤΙΓΡΑΝΟΥ ΜΕΓΑΛΟΥ Elephant, with raised trunk, walking slowly to left . ACV 172. CAA 150. Kovacs 183. Very rare. Glossy green patina. Irregular flan, otherwise, very fine.
