Edward III (1327-77), Quarter-Noble, Tower, 2.07g [31.9gns], 1h, m.m. cross pattée (6), chevron-barred as (cf. Doubleday 5-8; Potter {1964}, pl. X, no. 22; Schneider I, 7; N.1112; S.1483), a deep scratch and edge weakness at 8 to 9 o'clock, otherwise a broader flan, a bolder fine, the reverse very fine and pleasing, same obverse die as last.
