Henry V (1413-22), Half-Noble, Tower, class F, 3.46g [53.4gns], 5h, saltire stops, mullet above shield, trefoil beside, twisted ropes 2/1, ornaments -11-1, quatrefoils 3/3, rev. i.m. pierced cross and pellet [20], double saltire stops, trefoil in second quarter, trefoils in spandrels, large h in centre (Stewartby, class F; Schneider I, -; N.1379; S.1751), lightly cleaned, otherwise near very fine, rare, this 'true coin' of class F unrepresented in Schneider's corpus, very rare.

The Bazas hoard was discovered by a builder whilst renovating his home in south-western France in May 2004. Containing approximately 1,010 coins, with at least 157 gold and 300 silver issues, the trove represented more than a century of coining production in England (including Anglo-Gallic issues), Spain, Portugal, Italy and the Netherlands as well as local French issues terminating in the last decades of the 15th Century.
