Edward IV, First Reign (1461-70), Half-Ryal, Tower, type VII, 3.73g {57.6gns}, 5h, single trefoil stops, m.m. -/crown, reads franc, ropes 3/1, ornaments 1-|-1, quatrefoils 3/3, rev. double trefoil stop after argvas, small trefoils in spandrels (Blunt & Whitton, type VII; Webb Ware [1985], obv. die 13; Schneider I, 385, same obverse die; N.1554; S.1959), once mounted at 12 o'clock, and cleaned, otherwise struck details very fine or near so.
