Edward IV, First Reign (1461-70), Half-Ryal, Tower, type VII, 3.84g {59.3gns}, 4h, m.m. -/crown, single trefoil stops, ropes 3/1, ornaments quatrefoils 3/3, rev. nothing in spandrels (Blunt & Whitton, type VII, no. 4; cf. BNJ 25, pp. 175; Schneider I, 384, same dies; cf. N.1554; S.1959), heavily creased and scuffed with minor peripheral flan splits as a result, otherwise struck details about very fine, the variant very rare.
