ISLANDS off ATTICA, Aegina. Circa 510-490 BC. AR Stater (18mm, 11.73 g). Sea turtle, head in profile, [with thin collar and row of dots down its back] / Incuse square with mill-sail pattern. Meadows, Aegina, Group IIb; Milbank pl. I, 11; Asyut Group IVa; HGC 6, 429. Darkly toned, a little off center, scratches and marks. Fine.
