CYRRHESTICA, Cyrrhus. Caracalla. AD 198-217. AR Tetradrachm (26.5mm, 15.56 g, 6h). Struck circa AD 215-217. Laureate head left / Laureate head of Caracalla right, set on eagle standing facing on filleted thyrsus, head and tail right, with wings spread. Prieur 902 var. (obv. legend). Toned, porous. VF. Extremely rare, Prieur did not own this example when he published his book, and none in CoinArchives (and four of Prieur 902 in CoinArchives).
