CYRRHESTICA, Cyrrhus. Macrinus. AD 217-218. AR Tetradrachm (25mm, 13.54 g, 12h). Laureate, draped, and cuirassed bust right / Eagle standing facing on filleted thyrsos, head and tail left, with wings spread, holding wreath in beak. Prieur 922A. Lightly toned with underlying luster, a few deposits, obverse die rust. Near EF. Extremely rare, only one noted by Prieur, and none in CoinArchives.
