SELEUCIS and PIERIA, Emesa. Julia Domna. Augusta, AD 193-217. AR Tetradrachm (25mm, 13.13 g, 12h). Struck circa AD 215-217. Draped bust right, wearing stephane / Eagle standing facing, head and tail left, with wings spread, holding wreath in beak; between legs, radiate, draped, and cuirassed bust of Shamash left; A beneath eagle's head. Prieur 949. Deeply toned, light porosity, a few light scratches beneath toning, flan crack. VF. Extremely rare, only two noted by Prieur, and three, including this coin, in CoinArchives.
