SELEUCIS and PIERIA, Emesa. Julia Domna. Augusta, AD 193-217. AR Tetradrachm (26mm, 13.43 g, 12h). Struck circa AD 215-217. Draped bust right, wearing stephane / Eagle standing facing, head left, with wings spread, holding wreath in beak; between legs, radiate, draped, and cuirassed bust of Shamash left; O to right of eagle's head. Prieur 996 (this coin). Toned, light porosity, obverse metal flaw, light cleaning scratches on reverse. Good VF. Extremely rare, only two noted by Prieur, and two in CoinArchives.
