SELEUCIS and PIERIA, Gabala. Diadumenian. As Caesar, AD 217-218. AR Tetradrachm (25mm, 11.77 g, 4h). Laureate and draped bust right / Eagle standing facing, head and tail left, with wings spread, holding wreath in beak; between legs, crescent over crab. Prieur 1090/1089 (mules of Diaduemian obv./Macrinus rev.). Toned, porous, some encrustation on the reverse. VF. Extremely rare, Prieur did not own this example when he published his book, and one, this coin, in CoinArchives.
