SELEUCIS and PIERIA, Laodicea ad Mare. Hadrian. AD 117-138. AR Tetradrachm (25.5mm, 13.55 g, 12h). Dated year 168 (AD 121/2). Laureate and cuirassed bust right, with [gorgoneion] on breastplate / Turreted and draped bust of Tyche right; HΞP (date) below chin. Prieur 1107; RPC III 3803. Toned, numerous cleaning scratches. VF. Fine style. Extremely rare, only one noted by Prieur, and two in CoinArchives. Four examples cited by the authors of RPC.
