SELEUCIS and PIERIA, Laodicea ad Mare. Caracalla. AD 198-217. AR Tetradrachm (27.5mm, 12.34 g, 11h). Struck circa AD 207-208. Laureate and draped bust right, seen from behind / Eagle standing facing, head and tail left, with wings spread, holding wreath in beak; star between legs. Prieur 1143 var. (bust seen from front). Toned. Good VF. Nice metal and well centered. Extremely rare, Prieur did not own this example when he published his book, and none in CoinArchives.
