SELEUCIS and PIERIA, Laodicea ad Mare. Macrinus. AD 217-218. AR Tetradrachm (25mm, 14.92 g, 12h). Laureate head right / Eagle standing facing, head and tail left, with wings spread, holding wreath in beak; star between legs. Prieur 1182 (this coin). Toned, some minor porosity, some scattered verdigris. VF. Very rare, only eight noted by Prieur, and two in CoinArchives.
