COELESYRIA, Heliopolis. Caracalla. AD 198-217. AR Tetradrachm (26.5mm, 13.90 g, 4h). Struck circa AD 215-217. Laureate, draped, and cuirassed bust right / Radiate head of Caracalla right, set on eagle standing right; star to right; below, lion advancing right. Prieur 1192 var. (obv. bust type). Toned, light porosity. VF. Extremely rare, Prieur did not own this example when he published his book, and one, this coin, in CoinArchives.
