MESOPOTAMIA, Rhesaena. Diadumenian. As Caesar, AD 217-218. AR Tetradrachm (25mm, 10.79 g, 12h). Bareheaded, draped, and cuirassed bust right / Eagle standing facing, head and tail right, with wings spread, holding wreath in beak; rectangle between legs. Prieur 881 var. (laureate bust). Toned, porous. Good VF. Extremely rare, Prieur did not own this example when he published his book, and none in CoinArchives (and none of Prieur 881 in CoinArchives).
