Avars imitating Constans II AR Miliaresion. Pannonia, 7th century AD. Crowned and draped bust with long beard and moustache facing, holding glober cruciger / Cross potent set on globe on two steps; palm branch and pellet to either side. Cf. K. Good Very Fine, some flatness, minor flan crack, lightly toned. A very rare contemporary imitative issue from the Avar incursion into the part of Pannonia now in central Hungary.
