Diademed head of the deified Alexander right, with horn of Ammon / Athena Nikephoros seated left, left arm resting on shield, spear behind; tripod to inner left, Greek Z in exergue. Thompson 170 var. (monogram); Müller –; Cf. CNG 75, lot 114 corr. Lovely strike on a nice broad flan. Choice EF. Toned. Rare.
