ARAB-SASANIAN, Anonymous. ca. AD 695-710, local AE Unit (2.26 gm; 22 mm), without mint and date. Obv. Facing busts of Heraclius (older) and Heraclius Constantine (younger), both wearing chlamys and elaborate crown with cross; traces of Pahlavi legends around. Rev. Two Imperial figures standing facing, holding between them patriarchial cross set up on three steps; surrounded by blundered imitation of Latin legends. Gyselen -, Miles -, Album 43B-var unpublished. Holed. Well struck on a nice broad flan. Choice VF / F. Brown reddish patina. Extremely Rare.
