ARAB-SASANIAN. Unknown ruler, Ca. AH 72-95 (AD 691-714). AE Pashiz (1.12 g; 21 mm). No mint and date. Bust bearded facing right; bunched hair at the back in a stylized dotted double circle; a diadem and a merlon crown surrounded by two wings and crescent, in the field to the left in Pahlavi "xwarrah" (glory) and to the right in Pahlavi "abzud" (increased) / Bearded bust facing right placed upon a large crescent; two dots above the extremities of the crescent; bunched hair at the back; a pearl diadem ending with a triangle of pearls and merlon crown surrounded by a crescent and star; in the field to the left in Pahlavi "xwarrah" (glory), illegible name "mws'?" (Musa?) in Pahlavi to the right. Gyselen 67. Well struck on a nice broad flan. Dark brown patina. Choice EF. Extremely rare.
