Flanders. Charles the Bold of Burgundy (1467-1477) Double Patard (Dubbele Stuiver) ND XF40 NGC, Bruges mint, Rob-7884, Vanhoudt-32BG. 3.13gm. Unusually fine and handsomely struck for an almost universally crude and uneven issue, weakness and wear kept to an absolute minimum and enticing cabinet coloration. We note a flan crack around 8 o'clock for the sake of completeness. Sold with old collector's envelope.
