SICILY, Akragas. Circa 415-406 BC. Æ Hemilitron (27.5mm, 19.16 g, 9h). Eagle standing right, wings spread, on hare / Crab, holding serpent in right claw; shell and octopus below, six pellets (mark of value) around. Westermark, Coinage, Period III, Series 2, 638.1 (O8/R16 – this coin, illustrated); CNS –; HGC 2, –. Dark green-brown patina. VF. Very rare with hare on obverse and shell-octopus on reverse.
