EASTERN EUROPE, Imitations of Alexander III of Macedon. 3rd-2nd centuries BC. AR Tetradrachm (26mm, 16.72 g, 11h). Uncertain prototype. Head of Herakles, wearing lion skin / Zeus Äetophoros seated left; "control mark" to left, blundered inscription. Unpublished in the standard references. Deeply toned, old series of small cuts on reverse. Near VF.
