JUDAEA, Aelia Capitolina (Jerusalem). Macrinus. AD 217-218. AR Tetradrachm (26mm, 13.33 g, 12h). Laureate, draped, and cuirassed bust right / Eagle standing facing on filleted thyrsus, head left, tail right, with wings displayed, holding wreath in beak; wine jar between legs. Prieur 1639; Meshorer, Aelia 96 (same obv. die). Toned, porosity, pit and spot of stabilized green on obverse. VF. Rare.
