L. Marcius Philippus. 57 BC. AR Denarius (18.5mm, 4.07 g, 9h). Rome mint. Diademed head of Ancus Marcius right; lituus to left / Equestrian statue rearing right on aqueduct; flower below horse. Crawford 425/1; Sydenham 919; Marcia 28; RBW 1524. Attractive gray and iridescent tone, a pair of scratches and traces of die rust on obverse. EF. Wonderful centering and strike.
