C. Memmius C.f. 56 BC. AR Denarius (18mm, 3.72 g, 6h). Rome mint. Laureate and bearded head of Quirinus right / Ceres seated right, holding torch and three stalks of grain; erect serpent to right. Crawford 427/2; Sydenham 921; Memmia 9; RBW 1532. Toned, traces of die rust on obverse, a few scratches under tone. Near VF.
