Anonymous Folles. temp. Nicephorus III, circa 1078-1081. Æ Follis (24mm, 2.58 g, 11h). Imitation of Class I. Facing bust of Christ Pantokrator / Latin cross with central X, globus and two pellets at the end of each extremity; crescents to upper left and right, floral scroll to lower left and right. Cf. DOC I.1-64; cf. SB 1889. Dark brown patina, numerous cleaning scratches, minor earthen deposits. VF.
