Unknown maker, circa 19th century. •IMP HANNIBAL, bare-headed, draped and cuirassed bust right / Sacrificial scene: togate figures carrying wreath and lyre respectively advancing right towards victimarius, who leads sacrificial bull towards garlanded altar at right; temple, with wreath in pediment, behind. Unpublished in the standard references. 14.41g, 28mm, 12h.
Condition as seen; an attractive and well preserved piece.
