Fulvia (first wife of Marc Antony) Æ18 of Eumeneia (as Fulvia), Phrygia. Circa 41-40 BC. Zmertorix, the son of Philonides, magistrate. Laureate bust of Fulvia (as Nike) right / ΦOVΛOVIANΩN ZMEPTOPI in three lines within ivy wreath. RPC I 3140; SNG von Aulock 8367; HGC 7, 694. 5.41g, 18mm, 9h.

Very Fine. Very Rare.

From the inventory of a German dealer.

It was most likely that the city of Eumeneia was renamed to Fulvia when Antony journeyed east in 41 BC. Since Fulvia died only the following year, this was a very short-lived coinage.
