Obv: Helmeted head of Athena r. Rx: Owl standing r. on amphora, head front; ethnic and magistrates' names l. and r., elephant standing r. in r. field; third magistrate HG?/[?]O in l. field, ? on amphora, ME below; all within olive wreath. Ex CNG 85, 15 September 2010, lot 360. As Thompson observes, the same obverse die 401 was also used for the Winged Thunderbolt issue, suggesting that one of the two issues so linked directly followed the other one. . EF
