An opportunity for collectors: a nearly complete collection of the interesting annual issues of new-style Athenian tetradrachms and drachms, each issue being marked by its own symbol, along with the names or monograms of the responsible authorities. Although the rare earliest and latest issues of the series can only be approximately dated, the assignment of the issues in the remaining great bulk of the coinage to particular years is quite firmly established. The letters on the amphora on the reverse even specify the exact month of the coin's production within the year indicated by the symbol Symbol Rudder: c. 185/180-145 BC. EF
